The 6T6 has always met on a Wednesday night and this has helped in keeping some long standing members, some of whom have been members since 1969 and without their contribution the club would have suffered.
Amongst the club members have been a BAASDC past president (John Webb), BAASDC past PRO (Eileen Rowden) and 2 callers (George Layland & Ken Stanard). The currant BAASDC secretary (Patricia Woodcock) is also a club member. No other club has contributed more to the running of the BAASDC, a fact that 6T6 can be proud of.
Brian Wells decided to give up calling and move with his family to the Isle of Wight. Our next caller was Vic Richardson, who brought his own brand of enthusiasm to the club, but once again he and his family moved to Lincolnshire and we again had to find another caller. The new caller was Ken Stannard. Following difficulties with the Latymirians club management it was decided to move again, this time to the present address at the Blue School in Isleworth, Middlesex. After a succession of callers (Stefan Mengar 1994-1995 and Trevor Peel 1995-2001) for short periods, the club was lucky in obtaining Barry Potter’s services, (from 2001) who is still the present caller.
