I stopped calling for Tilehurst and Chain 8’s in 2004 due to personal pressures, but continue calling for 6T6 and occasionally deputising at Tilehurst.
I have traveled extensively throughout the USA and take any opportunity to call Guest Tips and must have performed at 40 or more clubs and called 5 full dances, in fact I’ve probably called at more clubs in America than in England. A by product has been presenting Barn Dances since 1994 and must have done close to 200.
I continue to dance up to Plus, but my opportunities for dancing have diminished with the increase in Saturday Barn Dances and the lack of a regular partner.
I have been a member of SDCCGB since 1994 and spent several years serving on their Council and giving presentations to their regular meetings.
